The Good News
The most important decision you'll ever make is what to do with Jesus. Here's the heart of the gospel.
God created you on purpose and for a purpose. He desires a relationship with you and offers a life of meaning, hope, and peace. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16)
Every one of us has fallen short. Sin separates us from a holy God and we cannot bridge that gap on our own. "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)
God did for us what we could not do for ourselves. Jesus lived a perfect life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again — paying the penalty for sin and defeating death. "But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)
Salvation is a free gift received through faith. Believe in Jesus, turn from sin, and trust Him as your Lord and Savior. "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9)
If you're ready to follow Jesus, you can pray something like this from your heart:
"Jesus, I know I'm a sinner and I need You. I believe You died for me and rose again. I turn from my sin and trust You as my Savior and Lord. Thank You for forgiving me and giving me new life. Amen."
